Hated - GG Allin & The Murder Junkies (DVD, 1999)

This DVD is basically a documentary about GG Allin. It was filmed in 1993 right after GG gets out of prison in michigan. He breaks his parole in fact to come and film it. In this documentary, it basically tells you about GG and his history. Theres also footage from shows and clips from other GG events. If you are getting into GG Allin and the Murder Junkies you should start with this DVD. But also this is a must have if you already are a GG fan. But be warned, expect voilence, nudity, and other obscenities. This documentary isn't for everyone. GG Allin and the murder Junkies were a Punk rock/Scum punk band. GG Allin is basically a heroin junkie that sings nude 90% of the time, and fights with his fans while singing. He at times throws feces and urine or anything he can get his hands on at people, and also beats himself up and gets all bloody. The music is good, but can also be morbid and perverted, but GG makes it more than just music. If you have a good sense of humor you may find that some of this stuff is funny. The DVD has some extras on it including his last show on the day he died that lasts about 45 mins. At the very end of the documentary, they show a little footage of his funeral. In my opinion, GG Allin was a decent person but had too many problems and he was excessive on stage. Well, i'll leave it to you to judge it. Have a nice day, Later
