The book is broken down into three main parts: The Healing Power of Crystals and Gemstones; The Most Important Gemstones; Your Personal ABC of Crystals and Gemstones.

The first part has history and information on how to recognize. Then healing gemstones according to your zodiac sign. Info on colors and chakra.

The second section is set up so well. An alphabetical listing of gemstones and crystals. A two page layout of information and facts. No gibberish to read through to find what your looking for. I was a bit disappointed. Its called, "The Most Important Gemstones", but that's left up to opinion. What's important to one isn't always the same to everyone. Some stones that I feel are significant aren't mentioned in the book.

The last part is finding the right stone for your ailment. Backache, apply pyrite. Cramp, drink zoisite water. Jasper for lack of energy. But alas, this is only 5 pages.

A good book for the beginner's library!!

This book is great in that there are wonderful color pictures along with detailed discriptions of the healing stones and crystals you can find all around the world. It tells you how to cleanse and charge the stones. It's a great guide book at a quick glance.

This book has good pictures, and information about each gemstone. In the back there is also a section on various ailments and which gemstone works well with each ailment. I also found interesting that it also tells you what NOT to use due to certain conditions. for example, low blood pressure. I found this book very informative. I bought this book for its healing gemstone information and believe it will be quite usefull to me.

A very comprehensive book. I bought it as a gift. I already own in and would certainly buy it as a gift again. Well worth the $$.
