A lighthearted drama about finding your place in the world under the most unlikely circumstances, WHERE THE HEART IS stars Natalie Portman as Novalee Nation, a pregnant young girl who is running away to California with her boyfriend, an aspiring country singer. When he abandons her at an Oklahoma Wal-Mart, Novalee has no choice but to stay behind. She lives in the Wal-Mart until the baby comes, and the resulting birth turns her into a celebrity. Awesome movie, kinda predictable but cute. Natalie portman was really good as the main charecter. Portman starts out as a pregnant teenager who heads out with her boyfriend and the adventure begins. Dont want to say too much more and give the movie away.

I decided to purchase this movie for my daughter, her and I saw it together and she wanted it. It was one of the few movies we both liked together. I like how this movie makes you realize that things are not always great but as long as you have friends and support you will be able to do anything you want. It teaches my daughter that she can be a strong woman without a man.

This has been one of my favorites movies so I decided to treat myself and get it for myself. :) One of those movies I can watch time and time again. Purchased it for a good price and do not have any complaints or dislikes to speak of.
