All 5 Hedgehoppers Anonymous singles originally released on "Decca" records are here in exact order on CD, A's and B sides !! From a North American prospective, "It's good News Week" will have different lyrics to it, since the original release here had more of a protest tone to it. For one example, the CD "Songs of protest" (various artist)compilation, released by Rhino in 1991 will have the original North American version of this song. Also included on this interesting CD is Jonathan King's debut released "Or then again" with a couple of bonus tracks included at the end along with his one hit wonder "Everyone gone to the moon" and his vocal version of "It's good news week" with totally different lyrics altogether. All in all, l rate this long awaited released excellent British invasion pop. l understand this is now currently out of print, so this issue will certainly become a collectors item if it hasn't already !!!

I'd been searching for this CD for quite a while and had bid and lost several times so I finally nailed a mint copy for which I paid dearly; was it worth the price? Maybe;I mean you probably won't hear this music on the radio and the overall quality of the disc is good.I hope I'm not subsidizing Mr. King's legal defense fund though, considering the nature of the offense he was charged with.
