Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate (PC, 2006)

If you already own Heroes V, and are thinking about getting this expansion pack -- don’t hesitate!

The Hammers of Fate Expansion Pack provides a good campaign, map editor and better stability (at least on my computer). In my mind the worst thing about Heroes V was the lack of decent maps and the lack of a map generator, so... problem solved. They also added a new dwarf town type and the Red Haven troops, both are very fun to play with.

The expansion pack is well worth a few additional bucks to expand the playability. I just wish the campaign is a little longer (it took me about 20 hours in total to finish).

The game was challenging and fun. My son is into these kinds of games and he loved it. He got this for his birthday and plays it all the time. He has finished the game many times but still plays it often.

if you've played any in this series. you know what to expect. number 4 was good and so is number 5. it gave me a few months of cheap time consuming fun. i hope they keep on making them.
