High School Musical: Sing It! (game & microphone) (Wii, 2007)

I bought it for a special needs girl who loves all (1,2,3) the HSM songs. It is very entertaining for her. It is a good gift for younger kids, who have the capacity to repeatedly watch/sing the same thing over and over. Older kids would quickly become bored, due to the lack of game challenge. It is good in the solo or duet mode. Warning: It doesn't have nearly enough songs on it to keep a parent in the same room sane. The graphics are OK, and since the voices seem to be the original characters and not the knock-offs, the quality of the music is good.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter because she just loves High School Musical. Once this game was opened on Christmas Day and put into the WII, it was played all day. She just could not get enough of singing and hearing the songs. Unlocking other songs and items are quite exciting to little ones. She also had a friend over and the same thing happened. Her friend did not have a WII, nor the HSM Sing It, so her mom went and bought it for her. So, for HSM fanatics, this is a must have. It is fun and entertaining. We also purchased Boogie, since it also had karaoke. It is fun, but we mainly use the microphone from it to use on the High School Musical Sing It! It is alot of fun being able to have 2 people sing, without sharing a microphone. I wish Boogie would have had a duet mode. We have enjoyed the High School Musical Sing It! because it is karaoke. I hope WII comes out with more karaoke that will cater to all ages, old and young alike.

Bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter for Christmas to play in her Wii. She loves to sing and dance and previously had seen High School Musical in person and had bought for herself several of the CD's. She has been singing non-stop and dancing all over the living room. Great purchase as it keeps her moving for exercise purpose along with practicing her singing talents. Music is one gift that will follow a child for life...

I would encourage anyone with a little girl in the house to make this purchase if they own a Wii. It was worth and continues to be worth every penny I paid for it.

This was one of the first presents my granddaughter played with on Christmas. Not only did she play, but also my son-in-law joined her. The game is more than I expected. I expected a Karaoke type game, but this game surprised me, as it's a sing-a-long with the option to play the musical instruments too.

I enjoy the Nintendo Wii games because they encourage users to be physically active rather than passive and this game rates well for me. Not only does it reinforce reading skills, it encourages group participation and scores one's accuracy.

Anything High School Musical is a good sell; the young kids love the movie and know the songs and dances

i personally dont play the game but my children love it. they love all the different ways to play single duet party modes. they love being able to pick the song they wanna sing without having to sing other songs first. great game for any child who likes singing games and they dont have to know the songs word for word right away.
