Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (Sony PlayStation 2, 2002)

I initially bought this because it got great reviews and was going for only a few bucks. What a great value. I still haven't made it past the first mission, but the best part of this game is that each mission has several possible solutions. This is where good games are separated from the mediocre -- when I get stuck in a mediocre game I either cheat or access an online walkthrough to make it through quickly, but not with Hitman 2. I want to put in the time and effort to figure it out for myself so that the results are a complete surprise. I don't want to spoil anything that awaits me. With the little time I have to play games these days it will take quite a long time to complete this game, but based on what I've seen so far each attempt will be equally entertaining.

This game is AWESOME!!! It has an addicting storyline, pretty good graphics, and alot of challenge. You must accomplish levels with a good rating (rated on aggression and stealth) and the option of completing a mission without being noticed by guards and without shooting anyone except the target. IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!​!!!

The is the original Hitman game, and is an excellent game, and really helps with learning how to use stealth and accuracy for shooting. Great practice if you are going to go hunting! This first one was really hard on some parts, they only give you a wire to use in one place and I had a hard time getting past that level, but felt great once I did! This game is a blast to start out on Normal, then when you are done, try the hard setting! If you like shooter games, this one is for you!

You wouldn't really call this game a shooter due to as there's quite a few weapons to choose from. Me personally, I just like using the wire to choke people. But that's just me. You can choose from your custom 9mm, silenced pistol, sniper rifle, wire, antiseptic, and more. Although the game is good, it is a major challenge! Aiming isn't the best, walking is like the original Tomb Raider, and you die in a very few hits such as in Rainbow Six. Good game to own, but prepare to spend hours on it!
