Movie synopsis
When a planeload of models crash-lands on a tropical island, they are forced by the heat and humidity to peel off most of their hot, sticky clothing. That evening they find a giant spider web with a dead scientist caught in it, but this doesn't stop their talent manager from taking a late-night walk. In great monster movie tradition, it's not long before he is bitten by a spider and begins to change into a hairy crab-like giant spider. And really, is there anything a giant spider creature on a desert island likes better than a planeload of models? Super schlock-o.

ALOT off hot-looking babes in this movie, great horror, and funny & scary looking giant spiders.
They could've made a bit better mask for the human who was slowly changing into a spider though.
The end sucked a bit, but the rest was awesome.

) If you follow Mystery Science Theatre 3000 at all, then you will know that this film was lampooned by the bunch in the final season of that show, almost 10 years ago. Horrors of spider island is... barely horrible, incredibly silly, and teeming with some women that were hotties back in the day. Anyways, the first scene is nothing more than an excuse for gratuitous sex appeal, and the rest of the movie is just... unbelievably silly and bad. These models get trapped on an island and basically walk around or act badly against poorly conceived special effects that would make Ed Wood's octopus look scary... well, maybe not THAT bad. Nevertheless, despite this movies absolute ludicrousness, it's still far better than anything Uwe Boll ever did.

) like: spides, spideface love: nothing dislike: not enough spider action or manspiderface action. the spider was the best, showing apx only 2x in the film lengthy enough for both is suppose. at fist i couldn't see it coming down the tree behind the wom. when they first got on the isle. the spide web in beg. here was too neat. funny i never saw this film on tv b/4. how many more r out there? bring em back so we don't have to pay so much online for em. ohhhhh
