Won't be able to put it down

I loved this book because it is like a murder mystery. You can almost figure out the ending but the author has it written so that you are on the edge of your seat the entire time. I read the book in 2 days because I couldn't put it down. I laughed, I cried. It is about a boys struggle with Asperger's syndrome and how sometimes the characteristics of asbergers can also make a person look guilty. How would you feel if you were interragating someone and they wouldn't look you in the eyes and their arms are flapping to their leg. Makes them look suspicious. Insightful, learned a lot about the disorder. If you ahve read My sisters keeper by Jodi Picoult it is set up the same way, the story is told by different characters in the book; the asperbergers teenager, the brother, the mother, the lawyer, the detective.

Another fast paced, exciting mystery to read!

Picoult continues to manage coming up with diseases or causes then hanging a mystery around them that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. This time around, the protagonist has Asperger's and since he wants to be a criminologist when he is grown, he has learned the ins and outs of forensic science and soon finds himself accussed of a horrible crime. Like Picoult's other books, she uses different type faces to have each main character "talking" to the reader and advancing the story. This one, like Nineteen Minutes, Handle with Care and My Sister's Keeper will keep the reader moving right along to the mostly satisfying ending. Picoult knows how to draw us in to her character's lives and keeps them just interesting enough to make you stay up late to finish this book. Too bad that it only take 2 days to read and then we have to wait another year for her next book.

I knew this book had become very popular and the authur had received rave reviews. There was not one book by Picoult on our library's shelf and there
were long lists for checking out her books.
I am not quite finished with this book but I am speeding through it as I
very badly want to know the ending. I like the way she develops her characters and makes them very believable. She does not try to show us that she has a killer
vocabulary but just tells the story in simple words. She has headed each chapter with the name of the character it focuses on and the person tells the
story in the first person. I liked everything about the book and will try to
read all she has written now that I am lucky enough to have found her.

Wonderful! Excellent! This book is about a mother with an 18 year old son w/Asbergers Syndrome. It is not only a wondnerful story. It is also very educational regarding Asbergers Syndrome. Jodi does such a thorough job of researching any subject she writes about. You can be sure you'll be smarter, no matter which of her books you read, besides being totally entertained. I have a daughter who has Asbergers. She is 38 years old; and believe it or not, I was much more aware of who she really is after reading this book. Thank you Ms. Picooult!
