HP Deskjet F4280 All-In-One Inkjet Printer

I really like this printer. In fact, this is my 3rd purchase. I do an awful lot of printing, but don't need the fancy stuff on a printer. It's easy to set up, and it also has a control panel that's convienent & easy to cancel a print or to scan, or make a quick copy. It's a great buy for the price, and I like the light color of the printer. If you need all the gadgets like connecting your camera to the printer, or an LCD screen, this one is not for you. It's your basic printer with the ability to scan and copy. Photos don't look too bad either! I would recommend this printer.

I didn't buy this item om eBay, but at Circuit City as they were going kaput. A horribole machine and a horrible experience with customer service. The software to communicate the printer to the computer didn't work. Then customer service (from India, of course)didn't send the replacement software as promised. After a second request they sent an earlier version of the software that wasn't completely compatible with the printer and I coudn't directly scan from the computer (I had to go through Windows Photo Gallery). And then after one month with moderate use (I was still on the original ink cartridge) the printer"s feeder stopped working. And for a time the HP software became a phantom screwing up my computer. Even though I uninstalled it, I would get a message from Windows the software was preventing me from loading Windows updates. I decided to eat the cost of the machine rather than go though Customer Service again. I got an Epson printer. No problems and I notice the print quality is superior to the HP (uses up ink fast, though).

I have 2 other printers that don't work very well with my computer.

This printer is the best All-In-One or otherwise that I have owned.
The prints are virtually like photos printed at your camera shop.
It is very easy to use. It enlarges photos and letters easily without any distortion. My 15 year old son has done all of the work for me & barely cracked open the instruction manual.(I don't recommend that) It seems very durable, it prints quickly and it is a good size: not too large. The color prints are great and has only has 2 ink cartridges to deal with and are easy access. (I have not checked replacement pricing on the cartridges)
With the knowledge & experience that I have with this system now, I would highly recommend this system. I have viewed regular pricing & would not have a problem paying the everyday price for this system.
**** At this time, I don't have any experience to share that I am not happy with right now.

Great All-in-One unit, that does everything it should including printing very good photos. The only flaw is that it did not include a USB cable and the description did not indicate this. Description needs to include this so purchaser can buy one, if they do not have one, so they have when they get this item.

fabulous printer. love it. scans well, prints well, easy to replace ink, sleek looking - not too bulky. very easy installation! i needed a simple printer and one that would scan and it's perfect.

a little slow to print but not a big problem to me.

does not come with usb cord that you need - that was kind of a problem, but easy to fix.
