HP Hx2755

The ipaq hx2755 is a fully featured PDA that works as a fully self-contained PC when you get the optional bluetooth Think Outside wireless Bluetooth keyboard. Connecting to the internet is a breeze snd I like the built-in SD and the compact flash slots for storage flexibility. Battery life is long, even with the standard battery. I am getting 6-8 hours on the standard battery. This is an excellent PDA if you can get it for under $300.00. At about 7 ounces with the standard battery, it is light enough to take it everywhere and the durable casing and protective flip-away plastic cover effectively protects the LCD screen from normal wear and tear. The 624mhz Intel processor zooms through all software applications and having 192MB of memory to open multiple programs is also a big productivity booster. This PDA has the right balance of features, power and long battery life. HP charges more for their Pocket PCs but in my mind you get what you pay for.

This looks like a crazy deal, I already own a Hx2755 with a Peil Frama Case and GPS adapter, I did buy an extra battery as well which I would reccomend to anyone looking to pickup an IPAQ. Whether for entertainment or business usage.

Mine cost a lot more than this one though, I kinda feel like I got ripped off. The IPAQ itself works awesome, the fingerprint reader is really cool and also offers a lot of security especially for the businessperson. The full Office suite is a major asset, you can actually create office documents on the IPAQ on the go and then wirelessly send them to your PC or notebook at your office or home office or even in the case of PPP to a Projector via bluetooth, which is a big time saver.

I use the Hx2755 as my all-in-one business management tool and autosyncing it with the software on my notebook eliminates a lot of time and effort. There are several different ways to write on the IPAQ using the stylus and the touch screen; keyboard, block recognizer, letter recognizer or transcriber. You can also pickup a foldable bluetooth keyboard which is really easy to use. The fingerprint can be reset manually through the HP credant security settings, its a little tough to find but its better than sending it in [drowe23].

You can manage all your daily business and sync it with your PC or notebook in the office or your home office as already mentioned making the Hx2755 a business powerhouse. However, in addition to that, the Hx2755 can also be used as an entertainment device. Featuring a 3.5" QVGA screen I play everything from solitaire to Pacman, view everything from online streaming video to feature length movies. One tip though, always watch movies in landscape mode - widescreen is way cooler.

Combining the IPAQ with the GPS adapter and using it in my car is awesome when I'm seeing clients in rural areas, I just plug it in my cigarette adapter. It mounts on my dash and gives voice commands plus a visual map.

All in all I would rate the IPAQ Hx2755 a 4/5 as it unfortunately does not have a cell phone. I would rate the GPS adapter a 4/5 as well, it would be better if it were built in. The case is definitely a 5/5. Overall the bundle I bought which also included an extra battery as this one does and a 128mb SD card [which this doesn't but SD cards are super cheap] is 5/5 based on a combination of productivity, functionality and value. I'd therefore rate this listing a 5/5 as well.

This is an amazing little device! It is my first PDA and I am thoroughly satisfied with it. It came with pocket ms office suite; I love the organizer and the to-do list. Boot-up speed is lightning quick and so is shut down. There is also a lot of security features that I haven't taken the time to go through yet but they sound really helpful to me. I love how I can choose what shows up on the main page, and if you keep the backlighting only as bright as you need it the battery will last quite a while. I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet!

Ive never owned a handheld pc before and this pretty much amazed me. I love it, the onlything I dont like about pocket pc is it takes so long to type things. But besides that it's awesome. The fingerprint reader like in the movies is so cool. Keeps people that dont belong in OUT! Battery Life is excelent. One thing I dont like is to reset the fingerprint so that there isnt any at all, you have to flash the ram which can only be done by sending it in. Other than that its AWESOME.

Love my gadgets and this one just about does it all Movies, Mp3player,internet calculator, excel, access. one word of advice don't upgrade to mobile 5 Pda goes haywire!
