The newer monochrome LaserJets print at about 53 pages/min, this printer is much slower at about 10/min, but honestly that's fine in the environment it is set up in. (Non-profit office with 5 PC network)
Don't hesitate, especially if you can get a great deal on it!

this printer needs a parallel port from the computer. the nice little usb adapters may not work, get an internal card for the computer then it will work like a champ even with win7 64bit version has the drivers built in, these things are good for over 150k pages made, mine was at 194k, they are a beast but parts are available and the 1200dpi is still standard, they are just slower

what a mistake!

The printer didnt come with the parallel cable to connect it to the computer,So I bougth the parallel cable with a USB connector since my computer doesnt have a parallel port ($35dls),I downloaded the driver and it didnt work, there is some kind of incompatibility with this printer and the USB connection ......make sure about this facts before u waste yuor money and time.

If you find a nice one used here, it is an excellent laser printer value! I bought 2 recently with 56,000 page use and 64,000 page use, and they are both champs!

Great Printer! Recommend this seller to everyone. The printer i got was a 2100m. It installed easily, and works perfect. Nice crystal clear pages.
