The Color LaserJet CP1215 is HP's entry-level printer built to serve small workgroups, but it suffers from frustratingly slow print speeds, a missing LCD screen, and other problems. Your $299 will go much further with the Dell 1320c, another color laser with faster print speeds for the same price.

Good printer for the price

) Good quality print, speed of printer is fine for home use. Price is reasonable. What's different from older models (and maybe higher end HP printers) is that there is no on-board menus. For example, there you can't pull up any system configuration or other items, which I did use. Also, it doesn't come with a USB connector, that is purchased separately. But, for a basic low-end color laser printer will do the job.

) The first thing and thing I love most about it is having a quality color laser printer for undeer $150!Print quality is wonderful, I purchased this for business purposed and it's fulfilling any and all task that I require. No paper jam issues or anything thus far...We have 3 different printers and all are HP's (we're about to buy our fourth) I'm definately a PROUD OWNER!!!!!!!
HP CP1215 Std Laser Printer - Good deal but expensive

This is an excellent printer. The quality is amazing.
It does have some negatives though. It prints slower than the suggested RPMs for black and white and/or color. It has extremely expensive ink cartridges.

) This printer is heaven sent. I have been working as a scientist and amuture photographer for years (computers 1989.) This is wonderful. The photos don't smear. High quality printing. Now in COLOR! No more waiting for the paper to dry, no more dot matrix to increase speed. Very sturdy but not for use on the go. I never thought I would be able to afford this for home. I have printed with Kodak, Lexacon (melted crayon type), Canon's Pixma series, as well as the others previously listed. I have always liked HP laser jets, but had to limit everything to black and white... NOT NOW! If you are an educator, presentor, scientist, marketer and other prophessions where you have High Visablity, you have to get this... It's a must have.

) The is a terrific color printer and you can't beat the price - it even came with the USB cable! For anyone looking for a color printer for your home this is a perfect choice.
