This HP laser printer is a color printer that boasts 540 MHz processor and 128 MB RAM. The HP LaserJet CP2025DN uses HP ImageREt 3600 technology to print crisp and clear colored printouts at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. This workgroup printer has a monthly duty cycle capacity of 40000 pages and takes as low as 17 seconds to print the first copy. This HP laser printer supports various media type like cards, recycled paper, transparencies, envelopes, etc. You can easily connect this workgroup printer using a USB interface. I did notice that the older reviews were critical while the latest reviews were more favorable to the printer. With that knowledge, I decided to go ahead and purchase the printer.

It had pretty much everything I wanted for the price. I definitely needed a color laser with duplexing and the ability to connect it from my network and not through a stand-alone workstation; so for the price, this was it.

I thought the speed for printing was pretty good and I didn't notice much difference between all B/W printing vs. color.

I wish it had the ability to print 11X17 which is going to cost to have a laser that can print on that size paper.

I would have also like for it to had an addition 500 paper tray as oppose to an additional 250 paper tray.

Finally, the ability to print from a smart phone would have been nice as well.

I bought mine new off eBay but the guy open the box and removed the CD and sample paper. Nonetheless, because I wanted to network the printer I was able to do so with out the CD.

I will say that many said they could not get the printer to print on both sides of the paper. I had trouble as well but was finally able to get it to duplex after many hours of trying this and that. I ended up turning duplexing on in about two different places but I don't remember where.

I do know that I had to turn in on via the printer and devices under windows and not during the printing of a file so that the preference was permanent.

Oh yeah, I also like the fact that you can view the stats and make changes to the printer via your browser by typing in the IP address like 192.168.1.10 and what you see in the control panel of your printer you can see and change via you I.E. or Firefox browser if you network the printer.

I think it took me about 15 minutes or less to print a color PDF file consisting of 236 pages that was duplexed or printed on both sides of the paper.

I didn't give it a 5 star rating because it didn't make me go "WOW!" If it cost between $250-$300 then I would have given it a big 5 ***
All in all I am very pleased with the purchase.

) The printer has preformed very well for us. Good, fast and clear copies. Toner cartridges seem to excede our expected capacity and the reminder indicaters help very much.
Awesome printer, great price, a must have for any home or office.

Installation of the HP CP2025DN Color Laserjet printer was a breeze. Just took it out of the box, unpackaged safety items, installed the additional 256MB RAM I ordered, and installed the drivers. I did have to contact technical support for the installation of the drivers as the PCL drivers downloaded from the HP website did not work for some reason. I ended up installing the universal Postscript drivers and the printer worked fine.
Although the printer also includes a network interface card, I decided to connect it via USB due to it's location. As for the print quality, it came out excellent. I had never seen a color laser printout before and was amazed with the clarity and brightness of the color. I highly recommend this printer to anyone.

We brought the 2025dn as a replacement for the 3600dn we had. The 2025dn did what it was brought for.
The only problem we had was to set-up with win7. Kept getting error message, that the set-up was not complete. Followed the instruction, that came with the unit, did not help. Had to have a tech. install it.
We did buy another one, hopefully it will set-up easier.
The size or foot print is a lot smaller than the 3600dn and that was a plus.
This printer also goes thru a cleaning cycle a lot more than the 3600dn, will do it anytime, even in the sleep mode.
Over all we are satisfied with the purchase, we did recommend it and they are going to buy one.
