a fine limited-used printer

It is compact and relatively fast and it meets my needs as a writer who sometimes needs a print copy of portions of my manuscripts. What I do not like about it is that it has taken a week to get it to accept a signal from my Samsung, and it does not accept a signal from my husband's Toshiba. This means that we have to transfer his workproduct to my Samsung laptop to get a hard copy of his product. While this may be a problem with the laptops, I find it unusual that we had to hassle with the Samsung as well in order to get it to work. We have two other printers, both HP color printers, in use and we have no problem with them, using the same hardware and connections. We made the decision to buy this item when our older HP B&W laser printer died. Overall, although it was eight years old and finding the toner cartridges was getting very difficult, it was superior to any of the three newer ones--faster, capable of high yield copying, and easy to service. Unfortunately, the comparable printer is not available at a decent price. We thought we were getting something in the same class, and did not. But we did get a functional printer adequate to meet our current needs at a price we could afford to pay.

This is not a good printer

I am still unable to use this printer. It says it's installed and won't print. I have had repair technician here twice and still no printing -- only the test page prints. I am very disappointed with this purchase and HP in general. Did not realize I had to be a computer engineer with an advanced degree to be able to print.

HP P2035 printer is GREAT but don't buy it for Envelop

This printer is really FAST and great print BUT it really SUX when it comes to printing Envelopes. There is only ONE way to insert/print envelopes and it does not feed them properly. The unit itself is very PLASTIC and that is part of the problem I would suspect. We upgraded from an HP 5M.

Purchased this printer for medium duty use in my home office. Printer is easy to set up (less than 3 minutes). No problems experienced. Features fast first print with good overall BW output. Good for basic needs. Meets my needs printing around 5K per month. Will not meet needs if need copying or duplex printing, scanning, faxing etc!
