HP Pavilion F1503 15" LCD Monitor - White

The first thing you notice is the difference in size. This thing is light. It's at least 25lbs lighter than the most CRT monitors. It's really hard to believe that it serves the same purpose as the monster that it replaced in our house. It's also skinny, only six inches deep. The amazing thing about this is how much extra space it frees up on your desk. We are able to fit the tower on the desk with the monitor instead of down on the floor where it draws all of that nasty dust and carpet fuzz into it.

Next is this monitor is adjustable. You can tilt this monitor, back and forth up and down, completely eliminating any situation where a glare is on your screen.

Finally the feature that I think is most incredible about this monitor is the brightness. The colors are so bright and vivid that you just have to wonder how they could have been so bad on that old monitor. Digital photos look so clear on this monitor. The picture is so clear that you'll be left saying wow after you hook it up.

One more bonus. Along with this monitor you receive 2 small Harmon Kardon speakers that actually connect right to the monitor instead of to the PC. These speakers produce a very nice quality high output sound. Plus they look every bit as nice as the monitor on your new not cluttered desktop.

The only thing that is a drawback with this monitor is because it is so light and so thin, I think that it may be very easy for a small child to pull it off your desktop. Take extra precautions if you have little ones around. It's a small price to pay for something that works so well!

Although a few years old, this monitor was well reviewed when new, and it's still a great choice where a 15" monitor is the best size, for example when space is an issue.
Mine came with Harman/Kardon speakers which sound small when used alone, but are a great complement to an existing sound system with a bass speaker.
This monitor is clear, vivid, and functions perfectly, and I'm very happy with it. And it was a bargain compared to buying a new monitor.

LCD monitors have become the icon in which one can distinguish an upgraded desktop from that of a PC that still may be operating with Windows 98'(ha!)...I beleive that some still uses 98' for some reason. But i begun to search for an extra LCD monitor on ebay, simply because i want to lower my utility bills,..CRT's are bulky and produces higher heat range as the Cathodes gets older (it may keep your coffee cup warm when pertched on it); And like old TV's, a CRT can hold Hi-voltage statically in its capacitors- so even if its unplugged- it remains electrically charged.

Shopping on Ebay for LCD's monitors gives one alot of options,..with the universiality of adaptors and cards, mis matching components on Pc's isnt much of a concern anymore....Its easy to get lost on the options though,..I bid'd on an HP bec it was lighter in weight/slimmer for shipping. And at a 4Amp, 12volt-
pwr usage- u cant go wrong,..other LCD may run more brilliant, but thats bec they operate on higher v/amp usage,..and may cause premature screen discolorations i was told.

For the price i got my HP monitor on an Ebay wining bid,..i cant complain..less then half the price of a brand new model....

I love my HP monitor. Everything I have every owned by HP has been high quality. This monitor produces great color and is very easy to manuever. On top of that it is light weight and the being a flat panel, it can fit just about anywhere.

Love the ability to tilt the monitor to adjust the viewing angle, paired with the ability to raise/lower the monitor with ease. Great Product!
