HTC Evo View 32GB, Wi-Fi + 4G (Sprint), 7in - Black

Worth the Ebay price...I sold my iPad and kindle in hopes of getting the perfect combo and HTC came very close. It is the perfect size for reading Kindle books, email (including corporate email, calendar and contacts), games. It's web browsing is very good but the 7 inch form factor isn't perfect for extended web browsing. It uses 2.3 not 3.0 but so what....everything works like I need...Oh buy the way the pen is a novelty...I played with it once and didn't find it really helpful for business use.

With that said I would still buy it again. I wanted a tablet to give me the feedom to work and play at home and away without always using a laptop...the HTC hit the mark!

Best part is Sprint finally saw the light and have month to month contracts...no regrets.

Awesome device for the price...
Key points:
1) HTC auto upgrade to Honeycomb (forget all the hacking)
2) Great as a Wifi Hotspot
3) Does everything an Android should
4) Perfect size

Minor annoyances:
1) With 2.3, rotation would light up different home,notification,back buttons - gone in HC. Was a nice feature, better use of real estate.
2) Wish there was a pay as you data plan.
3) Takes a while to charge via USB, even with the iPad 2A charger.

This is GREAT. I waited for a little bit long time but it arrived finally. It does everything beyond my expectation. It runs so fast and the size is also perfect. I can hold it with one hand for minutes without feeling tired. Android 2.3 but not that bad. It is enough for use like checking mails and playing little games. Good video performance. GOOD PRICE TOO. The actual available storage that we can use is about 20 GB , maybe it is better to point it out somewhere. And sometimes the display brightness control is not very stable.

I owned I-Pad, Galaxy in the past. HTC is so far the best I ever owned. Perfect size for travel. Fast with 1.5 GHz Processor & 1GB memory. Perfect size of 32GB for storage ( can be expandable ~ 34GB with Micro SD unlike I-Pad.

I loaded Copilot and works great as a Standalone GPS without Data plan ( Unlike i-Pad)

I paid ~ 275 $ brand new on Ebay.

I have an iPad, However, I found it a bit combersome for use on the go. As soon as the HTC Evo View 4G was released, I got one. I must say, it is one of the best tablets I have used to date. It fits perfectly into my routine (size and capabilities). I love being able to take notes in a meeting, then going to my office and being able to review my notes on my desktop computer, this is efficiency at its finest. I have had my Evo View 4G for over 6 months now, and I use it heavily everyday. It does everything I want it to do in a very elegant fashion. I love it and my wife absolutely loves it. The bottom line is everyone must first determine their unique needs and choose the tablet/device which best address those needs. For me, a 4G tablet thats able to take hand written notes and sync with evernote is an absolute necessity. Consequently, the the HTC Evo View 4G is the ideal tablet for me.
