I bought htc sensation 4g because it was cheaper than samsung galaxy II and overall good specs. What I like about this phone are the big screen, 1.5 ghz snapdragon dual-core(rooted), and how organized the UI, etc. What I dislike about this product are low memory RAM, bad camera, bad speaker, and not fully customizable and organizable with sense UI, etc.
I would rather buy samsung galaxy II or better than this phone.

Excellent phone quality. Excellent camera/video recorder. Excellent sound quality. Excellent picture quality. Good battery life unless you are downloading massive amounts of data all day long. If you are doing that, you should probably buy a desktop computer. I can go all day (16 hours) on the battery (1520 mAh) and still have half the juice left after making a few phone calls, checking the weather a few times, checking and responding to a few e-mails, surfing the web for half an hour, downloading a couple apps and playing a game for 15 minutes. Very fast download speed. Very quick response time. Very handy features. Extremely versatile. The only bad thing I can think of is that mildly annoying, spontaneous shut down/reboot it does every few days. Apparently an ongoing issue with some HTC phones but not a big deal for me. This is light years beyond the Nokia Astound I had a few months ago. One thing I would recommend though is to get a skin for it as this phone is very smooth, round and slippery to hold onto otherwise. This phone is amazing.

Good, but too expensive compared to lesser models for the extra it does.

Hmmm, a tricky one to answer actually. I have always had HTC smart phones (an M3100, then a Hero and now this Sensation) and although it does everything that it should, I don't think that it is worth 5 times the price of how much I sold my old phone for!
Mostly I got it since $g will be taking off here in the UK next year & also because I know that it will be being upgraded to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwhich) hopefully sometime this month (March). I am going to keep it, but do think that, for me, when I replace it, I would be happy with a slightly smaller smartphone which (by then) will probably be dual core when the fastest are quad core.
