Movie synopsis
Aimed at cartoon aficionados, this first volume of episodes from Hanna-Barbera's THE HUCKLEBERRY HOUND SHOW contains the first 26 episodes from the loveable blue canine. This set of cartoons first aired in the late 1950s, and captured the imaginations of kids across the country, who were drawn to Huckleberry's Southern drawl (voiced by Daws Butler) and his desperate attempts to find a job of some kind. Also included with each cartoon are the supporting features, which feature Hanna-Barbera staples such as Yogi Bear (and his sidekick Boo Boo) and the two mice Pixie and Dixie.

The DVD is box packaged for protection of the four discs.
If you are into cartoons from this era this is a must have.. Since the huckleberry hound show was the beginning for many of the loved carttons that came out of hanna Barbara studios.

This full screen dvd has been digitized and reformatted into a great cartoon series for my child to watch and enjoy. We do wish however, there would either be a Volume two issued or more Huckleberry Hound cartoons on this Volume one.

Wow,this outstanding Set is fun,fun,fun.Yogi,Jinx,the Meeces and Huck himself.
Brings back the innocence and simplicity which was all-around OK back then-and still works today in 2010 ! Mr Daws Butler had real talent when it came to doing many of the voices and is sorely missed today.So happy we can go back in this Time Machine of a Set and relive those gleeful memories of yesteryear.

A Classic!! My kids love, love, love this collection! Several different episodes per disc including Huckleberry Hound and several other from Hanna-Barbera. Some Yogi Bear and a couple other characters. Highly reccommend.
