Great way to get ahead and learn on your own

    Created: 09/01/09
Books are so expensive, and I wanted to get an International Edition to save on some cash. This had the web homework code, interactive CD and full color pages, exactly the same as the expensive hardcover but with a soft cover. Helped out a lot in class and my classmates were nvious that I saved so much money! I'm going to recommend them to the seller I got it from. The book was helpful and explained everything in great detail with lots of pictures and study tools that helped me understand the material with ease. The outline of the book is easy to follow and uses terms in a way that is easy for students to understand. This is a must have for students taking anatomy (and neurobiology, like me!) and will definately aid students in learning about obsure topics which your professors might have obessions with (mine loves the nephron). Great teaching aid that helps you learn quickly on your own!

I bought the Human Anatomy & Physiology by Elaine N. Marieb, Katja Hoehn (2006)last month. It is impressive because it is new and good quality and reasonable price. I decided to buy it because it is cheaper than the one, which sells in school bookstore.

    Marieb's Anatomy

    Created: 05/07/07
I am a college student who needed this book for an A&P class. I am not the best science student and was initially worried it might be difficult to read or understand. It is neither. The text is written clearly, doesn't use unnecessary vocabulary, is descriptive enough for people who aren't science majors, and has lots of excellent pictures and diagrams that make the difficult parts of the texts easier to comprehend. If you are going to take an A&P course, or want to understand more about human anatomy, this is a good book to look into.

Great book with very helpful atlas

    Created: 09/02/08
I bought this book about a month ago and was impressed by how much information was packed into the book. It came with a hardback book, atlas and interactive CD. I especially found the atlas helpful when studying for my first exam and I feel that it will come in handy long after the course is over. The book is extremely heavy for a textbook but I'm not sure there is any way for the author(s) to effectively condense the information. Perhaps making the next edition spiral bound wouldn't be a bad idea. All in all, the book and its "accessories" are well worth the money.
