I would run XP on it, I dont know if it can handle something like Vista. Maybe with a ram upgrade.

) I repaired a lapton I'd bought on ebay, and wanted to make it that special system, so I added this LCD display. The sharp images, absolutely beautiful and clear display made the entire systel seem 'new'! Adding this new LCD, also found on e-bay, made for a complete success story! And all this at a very reasonable cost, minimal expertise other than patience and waiting for all the various parts to get to me so that I would disassemble the laptop only once. I now have a powerful laptop, with all the features of a new system, but with out the associated costs. The LCD was manufacturer refurbed, and came to me carefully packaged (with a gaurantee). The entire experience was a pleasure, the outcome just great! Thanks e-bay.

) Great little piece of equipment. As with all my other laptops, always allow plenty of air circulation underneath by slightly lifting back lower part to allow close to 3/4" for free flow of cooling air....preventing any overheating that wears and tears the electronics. Haven't had any problems even though its age would probably have retired many of it's companions. I'm very satisfied with the speed and overall quality of service this great oldie is still providing.....

Had 2 Ghz processor, 20 gb hdd, windhows 7 ultimate 32bit, and office 2007. But, after installing windows updates, only 3 gb space remained for work.
video experience was ok but not very good with videos on youtube.
