Imagine: Fashion Designer (Nintendo DS, 2007)

This is a good game to purchase if you like to design clothing of all kinds. I bought it for my almost 9 year old daughter who LOVES to create clothing. There is only a one thing that I didn't like about it, it has you complete tasks and one of them is to create a shirt above the belly button and a mini skirt. I know that is part of designing clothes, however I don't like my daughter making things like that and then thinking it is cool and in style. Otherwise it is pretty cool, you can also do makeup and teach your models to walk on the catwalk.

This game is intended for young ladys under the teen age years. It is interesting and different. Linear game play however, but still fun. The game does a great job at covering several areas of the design industry. Salon, makeup, clothing, Jewelry, etc. A fun game to play.

I watch all of the fashion design/model shows on tv. But i hated this game.
I had just purchased my DS and wanted a fun game- one that wouldn't take me 20 tries to beat a level or force me to beg my brother to defeat the bad guy for me. This game looked cute and it sparked my interest. First off there are only about 10 challenges in the game. The challenges are difficult, but not in a fun way. It will instruct you that the model is to have blue hair. So you make her hair blue. But the computer will not like the shade of blue you picked. So instead of using your creativity to design in this game you ultimately have to pick what the computer wants. There is an army/camouflage challenge. It took me at least 20 tries to figure out which pattern was suppose to be camouflage, since all the patterns look like blobs anyway. Now let's talk about the last challenge. The Finale. It cannot be beaten. It is a blue challenge, where you have to design 5 outfits in the color blue and walk down the runway in those outfits. I guarantee i have made over 100 blue tops and skirts and still i cannot get what the computer wants. The computer has decided that some of my outfits don't go together. I have no interest in trying to finish the game. I have no desire to design outfits for fun. I know this game is geared toward a younger crowd, but i ask the makers of this game how a little girl is expected to get through the challenges without crying in frustration??!!??

My daughter had played this at a friends house & loved it! It gives young girls the chance to use there imaginations to create designs. If you have a child who loves clothes & is big on fashion it is awesome. Would definately recommend this game for all girls!

My daughter want this game for along time i always told her it cost to much. Then we saw it on ebay and the price was right.We love playing it.Thank you
