The Incredible Mr. Limpet (DVD, 2002)

I've loved this movie since I was a small child. It's about a man who loves his fish so much he wishes to become one. Once he's a fish, he helps the Allied Forces defeat the Germans by directing them toward the enemy subs. It stars Don Knotts. He is, as always, wonderfully funny and charming. Much of the movie is animated, but it also incorporates the animated fish into live-action.

I made the purchase with my three-year old in mind and she loves it, too....although she always wants to skip the beginning and go right to the part where Mr. Limpet turns into a fish. We've watched it together several times already, and she just loves Ladyfish, Mr. Limpet's girlfriend. It's a family friendly and highly entertaining movie. It may be quite old, but the story is still timely. I would recommend it to anyone!

My 16 year old got a beta fish for easter. We named him Mr. Limpet and I searched for the video hoping to find it on ebay. She loved the movie and watched it with my husband and I even though she is a cool punk rocker who does not admit to hanging out with her parents. A great family movie that bridges the generation gap(s).

Mr. Limpet wishes to be a fish, falls into the ocean and becomes a fish who helps the Navy as their secret weapon during the war.

BEFORE Little Mermaid, there was The Incredible Mr. Limpet! I loved this movie...Don Knot at his funniest! This is a cross between real live people and animation. This originally aired at a time when an animation mixed movie was not that common. Mr. Limpet is like a male version of Little Mermaid, only instead of wanting to get out of the sea, Mr. Limpet wants to be IN the sea. Mr. Limpet also has a "crab" buddy who helps him adjust to his new environment. This is a MUST for your movie collection. It's really that fun to watch.

BoughtThe Incredible Mr. Limpet on the suggestion of a friend. It is a good movie, Don Knots is so funny! Can you imagine turning into a fish!? A good movie for the whole family. Even my 14 year old liked it. Too bad they don't make movies like this any more. We will watch this movie again and again.

I'm tired dealing through ebay and you on item The Incredible Mr. Limpet because through emails over and over this itemyou have even agreed that the tranaction was never complete and you would file papers so. So quite wasting hours of my time as I will not buy the 4 DVDS that I REALLY DID BUY UNTIL you complete your agreement. It seems instead of of being an idiot to not keep your bargain you are willing to wait foever for 4 DVDS to be paid for then just one that wasn't ever bought.
