Product Information
Third-person adventure thriller, created by the team behind Omikron, Indigo Prophecy gives gamers the unique chance to play both hunter and fugitive, which in turn leads them to speak, explore, interact, fight and confront unknown dark forces. For no apparent reason, ordinary people are randomly killing total strangers. Although there is no link between the murderers, they all seem to follow exactly the same ritual and pattern. Lucas Kane becomes one of these murderers when he kills a stranger in the men's room of a restaurant. Finding himself in control of Lucas, the player is haunted by strange visions and the desperate need to find out what is happening to him. At the same time he must keep one step ahead of the police, especially Inspector Carla Valenti and her teammate agent Tyler Miles.

Its not Halo and its not Madden I called it different

If You're an Xbox owner and looking for something that doesnt involve a gun or a ball as a primary tool to get things done. Well... Your screwed, just kidding. This game has one tool and that is called "choice" the desicion you make will change the out come of the game. You play as a murderer (so he thinks) that just committed a crime and you must try to run away from the cops, lie to the cops, and hide the evidence from the cops. You play as cop who had been assigned to a murder case to investigate, your mission is to find murderer, find the evidence, and find out how he looks (strange? I know). This game also has its own mini games, like basketball and also overcoming cluastrophobia. The controls of the game is a bit glitchy at times but you'll over come that, gameplay is pretty fun its just like simon says, graphics is just like maxpayne, sound and voice acting is one of the best things about this game, and overall the game unique and different, you really do feel like a suspect trying to run away from the cops and you do feel like a cop collecting evidence. This game has all the goodies, so like I said give it a shot if your looking for something different. whenever you do pick up this game let me give you a tip "DONT FORGET TO PAY YOUR BILL AT THE RESTUARANT".

P.S. there is no life bar just a sych bar.

Movie Style Game that GRABS and Doesnt let go!

    Created: 09/03/06
THIS GAME IS AWESOME! OK LET ME JUST SAY ONE THING FIRST... YOU REALLY DONT SHOOT KILL MAME OR EVEN RUN ANYWHERE IN THIS GAME. THIS PLAYS OUT LIKE A MOVIE, AND IF SOMEONE IS WATCHING YOU PLAY THEY ARE LIKELY TO BE JUST AS ENTERTAINED. THE STORYLINE IS LONG AND CHANGEABLE BY THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE. YOU MOSTLY PLAY THIS GAME BY FOLLOWING SEQUENCES WITH THE ANALOG STICKS SORT OF LIKE SIMON SAYS, AND ALTERNATLY HITING THE L AND R TRIGGERS. OTHERWISE YOU WALK AROUND A LITTLE AND TRY TO FIND THINGS. THE GRAPHICS ARE AWESOME, THE STORY IS EVEN BETTER AND I COULD PLAY THIS GAME ABOUT 3 OR 4 TIMES OVER! IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND YOUR TIRED OF KILLING AND KILLING AND MONSTERS AND KILLING....TRY THIS GAME. WELL I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TRY THIS GAME! SIT BACK AND ENJOY!

    One of the best

    Created: 20/06/07
Indigo Prophecy is easily the best adventure game to come out since Syberia II. There aren't many adventure games on the console system and that makes Indigo Prophecy stand out even more. I'd go so far to say it's easily the most innovative adventure game in the last half decade, though the dearth of games within the genre may have something to do with that.

Playing the game is like being involved with an interactive movie -- it's immersive, action-packed, yet retains the primal nature of the adventure game genre. Indigo Prophecy packs a wallop of a story, hair trigger action sequences, and time-dependent events that require fast thinking. It's really the last part that seperates the game from the rest of the crowd -- you don't just try try try again until that singular item works. Instead, you do things (such as hide evidence or discover evidence of a crime) that have later reprecussions on how events play out -- it's a phenomenal direction to take the genre, making the game feel more like a choose your own adventure story than a statically-linear, or devoid-of-life world. In the end, the world feels alive and the story is exciting, making the game ridiculously fun to play. And that's what counts in this genre.

    Different and entertaining

    Created: 01/07/06
This was a really different and unique experience, sort of a 'choose your own adventure' type of game. You start off as a murder suspect and have to make decisions on what to do next, typically you're given three or four options on what to do, and your decisions shape what will happen next in the story. The storyline and murder mystery are involving and keep you interested. I gave it a 4/5 because there are some 'button mashing' interludes here and there that are a little unfair, but otherwise its a good game. If you're sick of FPS and platform games and are looking for something new, check this one out!

    Pretty good...

    Created: 07/11/06
A good all around game. My husband and I play games together and we try to find games that are multiplayer, which I thought this one was, but alas it is not. So, with that said, I am giving you this review from a second person's perspective. ( keep in mind I was there with my husband working through the game together)From the beginning the game sucks you in . We both found it awesome that we could play more than one charachter, and didn't have to follow the "traditional" path games take you on where you play their way. This game allows you to play your way. You choose what you want to do and the game has multiple endings. The only draw back was that navigation is a bit tricky, but you get used to it. So all in I all I recomend this game for it's different approach to gameplay, and it's ability to keep you on the edge of your seat!
