The Insignia Pilot is an incredible value for a media player, and it's packed with features: Bluetooth, FM radio, line-in recording, photo and video support, and Rhapsody DNA Integration. It plays back a wide variety of audio formats and is compatible with both Mac and Windows PCs.
- THE BAD
The Insignia Pilot's sound quality is only so-so, and it's on the large side for a flash player.
- THE BOTTOM LINE
The Insignia Pilot won't please audio purists, but it's a great option for feature hounds who appreciate a good value--and the ability to listen to music sans wires.

I got the Insignia Pilot 8gb Mp3 player from Best Buy a year ago and it continues to do it thang! Battery life is good,graphics/videos are very clear and volume is great as well. There are many features on this mp3 player and the one everyone who has one of these wants to know is..."How do you create a playlist?" Well I just figured out how to do it w/o having to use Rhapsody but I won't go that indepth here as this info. is something to share on Youtube. Insignia Pilot is "A-OK"

) Owner Insignia Pilot for almost three years. I've had good luck with this unit and would buy another. It's one of few MP3 players that you can load whatever you want without additional programs. It can all be done by plug up to USB click on start, click on Exlpore find Insignia and drag and drop all music and pictures.I tried IPod and Zune. Too many hoops to jump through.
What I don't like about it is , it has been discontinued. You can find them as reconditioned on Ebay for about a quarter of the cost new.

) This is an excellent video player. The picture is excellent and the internal memory can easily hold 5 or 6 full movies or more. Audio is excellent and the price is the best feature. IPod move over!!!

) incredible battery life, dual headphone jacks, bluetooth capability supporting avcrp, mini usb port, bluetooth and jack plays simultaneously, scroll button :),folders option,lightweight, the pros are endless!!! Blows my ipods out of the water!

FM radio, plus video and photo. I got it "refurbished" but it looked and worked brand new! I will never hesitate again to try something other than the
typical brand names !
