Album Notes
Personnel: Hassanah Iroegbu (background vocals).Audio Mixers: John Frye; Leslie Brathwaite.Photographer: Jonathan Mannion.Still soaring from the enormous success of his 2005 break-out album, LET'S GET IT: THUG MOTIVATION 101, Young Jeezy released a string of hot mixtapes before returning with the studio-album sequel,THE INSPIRATION: THUG MOTIVATION 102. With the usual powerfully grim vignettes of street life, all-consuming snowman paranoia, and trademark "yeaaaaahhh"s that litter the backgrounds of every track, Jeezy maintains and elevates the infectious style that made THUG MOTIVATION great. His hypnotic grunt-heavy flow and intense vocal presence has listeners by the throat from the album's opener, "Hypnotize," on which he hauntingly chants, "Now I command you n*ggas to get money." On the production side, the synthesizer-driven beats from Shawty Redd, Midnite Black, the Runners, Timbaland, and Mr. Collipark, among others, range from nightmarishly seething to upbeat and dreamy, always rising and falling in effectively dramatic arcs. Young Jeezy has put together another instant classic, consolidating his position at the top of the Dirty South.

Editorial Reviews
[Jeezy] showcases his knack for crafting commercial fare without forsaking his thugged-out mystique....[With] plenty of inspired material...
XXL

He makes staggeringly good albums....Staying on message has helped Jeezy become one of hip hop's great self-made myths.
Vibe

[I]t's the Atlanta MC's immense personality that truly inspires. -- Grade: B+
Entertainment Weekly

3.5 stars out of 5 -- Jeezy just shows up with the attitude, the ad-libs, and the punch lines, and lets it snow. Hell of a storm...
Spin

3.5 stars out of 5 -- [T]he Atlanta rapper's flow is warm and distinctly Southern, with drawled rhymes delivered at a near-molasses pace.

Jeezy at His Best

Created: 14/01/08
This is an amazing Young Jeezy album. His lyrical ability is really showcased in this album. Hits such as “Dreamin’” and “What You Talkin' Bout” are very good songs in that they explain Jeezy’s life. “Still On It” and “The Realest” showcase the powerfully grim reality of street life. “I Luv It” is the best track on the album in my opinion; it really brings together Jeezy’s different styles into one great hit. The track “Inspiration, The (Follow Me)” is another great hit which exposes Jeezy’s desire to help the youth. In conclusion, this album is definitely worth buying.

GOOD COLABORATION OF FEATURED ARTISTS AND BEATS

Created: 30/12/06
A friend told me about this album so i decided to check it out. Young Jeezy is a great artist from the southern state of Georgia along with other most successful southern rappers. This is his second album he came out with and there is a good mix of artists featured on this album. What i liked about this album is there are a lot of catchy beat songs such as "3A.M" , "You know what it is", and "Keep it Gangsta". He is a rapper that has witnessed success as of late and if he continues to produce such songs like 'I luv it", which is the hit single of his album, there are more great songs to come out of this up and coming rising star.

Jeezy for sheezy

Created: 02/01/07
I am not a huge fan of Jeezy but he's growing on me. I hate the stigma of drugs and gangstas that he personifies but his beats are pretty hard! If you enjoy his music you will enjoy this cd. My best friend has it and we've listened to it several times. I actually still need to buy this one myself. Enjoy and thanks - gene

Young Jeezy Articulates perfectly here

Created: 17/01/10
In this album young jeezy perfectly articulates his "trap music". This album is a little less trap like than 101 but still a knock out.
