InuYasha - The Movie 4: Fire on the Mystic Island (DVD, 2006)

'Fire on Mystic Island' was not the best of the franchise. While sweet, it lacked the strong storyline of previous films. Perhaps it was lost in translation, but it did not fully meet my expectations. The story was spotty and not as well paced as previous outings.

On a positive note, the animation was well worth the viewing, and the usual attention to detail of characters and the world of 'InuYasha'was maintained. The voicework quality certainly was equal to previous films as well. Overall, a solid addition to the series, but not the most stellar.

After watching it in Japanese and waiting patiently for it to come out in the US....this movie fors not dissapoint. It is classic Inuyasha at it's best. 4 new villians to destroy, no mention of Naraku and the neverending love triangle of Kikyo, Kagome and the original dog boy himself. You even see a glimpse of the human side of Sesshomaru (if he had a human side). My only complaint is I wish this was not the last movie.

InuYasha has been my number one favorite anime for years. It took me forever to find the last movie, but when I saw it I had to get it. The only thing I didn't really like about this movie was the ending.

By ordering this i am finally the proud owner of all four inuyasha movies on dvd! I'm very satisfied with this purchases. I have watched 3 out of 4 of the movies, but have never seen the fourth one. Now i can watch it:) It's just as great as the previous three movies. I love inuyasha!

I am a huge fan of the Inuyasha seasons and all the movies. This movie lived up to all the standards that Inuyasha fans put up. Lots of violence and funny/cute moments. There isn't much love in this movie as in the others, but it's still there. Hope they come out with a 5th movie =).
