I have always liked Jay P Decima and he was a guru way back from before Real Estate GURU was an industry term.

Becuase of all that the book is filled with very little sales hype and is solidly informing. No Get rich quick schemes here just good solid wisdom from a guy who's been doing it for a really long time.

I like this author his writing does not have some of the sales "HYPE" that others have. Since he is not a guru out marketing his stuff all over the place on late night T.V. his book has even more credibility to me.

The book is simple straight-forward, and easy to understand. If you are looking to invest in "Fixer Uppers" then this book is one of the many must reads for this category.

If you have already done a few fixer uppers and want some pointers to improve your skills then this is also a great read.

I enjoy reading anything written by his articles and even as a seasoned investor I always manage to find a pointer or 2 that I have overlooked.

I have personally met Jay few years ago at a seminar, his techniques are very simple to follow, I have myself bought and sold many houses using his system, this book has many informations that can actually be used in real life, no fluff, any i am a happy investor and continue to invest in real estate. (great time right now actually).
