Kelly; Bill Meyer; Bill Meyers. The question for a 42-year-old Michael Jackson heading towards the end of 2001 was whether or not the self-proclaimed King Of Pop could make his presence known on the charts after having spent much of the '90s laying low. If the chart-topping position achieved by INVINCIBLE is any indication, then the answer is a resounding yes. The album is primarily produced by Jersey wunderkind Rodney Jerkins, and Jacko wasted no time tapping other top-flight artists and knob-twirlers to help out, including Teddy Riley, Babyface and R.Kelly.Michael pulls out all the stops here, whether peppering the opener "Unbreakable" with his trademark falsetto and a posthumous rap from the Notorious B.I.G, or recruiting guitar great Carlos ...

6 out of 10 - ...A relevant and rejuvenated comeback...
NME

INVINCIBLE nw seems an appropriate swansong for a man who never came to terms with his own success.

3 stars out of 5 - ...Sonically exhilarating...

3 stars out of 5 - ...Fleet, durable R&B minimalism....and ballads ranging from Los Angeles smooth to the odd. Best of the bunch succeed with the kind of life-affirming number Jackson will never desert...

A Legend

Created: 13/07/09
What more could you say about Michael Jackson. He is one of the greatest, most influenctual in the whole history of music. He's an all around entertainer and notoriously known. I had to buy Invincible after I heard about his passing. I was afraid prices would get raised. I bought it because I really enjoyed listening to "Butterflies", "Break of Dawn" and my new favorite "Heaven Can Wait". Those are my favorites. Michael is phenomenal at writing romantic songs. I love how he creates a certain mood and imagery. Not just 'oh yea baby I wanna have sex wit u'. There is deeper imagery here. He is very in touch with his feelings. He is a Virgo like me so he is good at using his imagination.

This is the last studio CD that Michael Jackson made and I have to say that this is a great CD. Break of Dawn just blew my mind when I first heard this song ... truly an awesome song and if you haven't heard the song ( or the CD for that matter ), you should give it a listen. You will not be disappointed!
Other great songs such as You Rock My World, Butterflies, You Are My Life, Don't Walk Away. A must have for any MJ fan!!

MIchael Jackson's "Invincible" CD

Created: 16/08/09
I was in search of any Michael Jackson CD that contained the track, "Butterflies", as a gift for my niece. Luckily, I found this CD online for less than $6 brand new! I, particularly, am drawn to the tracks, "Heaven Can Wait", "The Lost Children" and "Cry". These songs express the deep sensitivity, love and connection MJ had for "those with less". Sad,but uplifting. Don't hesitate to purchase this release, "Invincible". Your collection of MJ favs should not be considered complete without it!

The very last track has a thriller feel. Butterflies of course is a beautiful song. It is a smooth ballad which is one of Michael's many strong points. In addition, there are several dance tracks. My absolute favorite is his collaboration with Carlos Santana...Whatever Happens (excuse me if the track name is wrong), but it is by far one of the most beautiful songs on the CD. A++++++ album.

Michael Jackson's INVINCIBLE

Created: 01/06/06
I decided to buy this CD because in general I really like Michael Jackson's other CD's, of which I have many. Despite all the "hoop-la" about this artist, people seemed to have forgotten that he is a brilliant songwriter. I love this particular collection of songs because it has slightly different themes and rythmes than his other CD's. One of my favorite songs is "Heaven Can Wait", but there are many others just as fine! (Wonderful original rythmes). Mr. Jackson has some very meaningful messages to share with the world. If we would just listen.
Michael also addresses some current issues in a straight forward way. The melody's are great. I believe this is one of Michael Jackson's BEST CD's.
