iRobot Roomba 400 Robotic Cleaner

Just got the irobot yesterday. Couldn't wait to try it out today and it did not disappoint. Got stuck a few times and it seemed to take a while to learn the layout of my kitchen/living room area but boy did it pick up the dirt. Then I recharged it and took it upstairs to tackle the bedrooms (carpet). It did amazing! With 3 dogs and 2 cats in the house, not to mention the stuff we inadvertantly track in from the barn (goats and chickens), I will probably fire this little guy up every day. BTW, his name is Robbie and it's fun to watch him work. :)

The Roomba 400 is a 4000 Series iRobot Vacuum. These devices are really pretty amazing at what they do. As a Caution do not expect this to completely replace your current vacuum at home. This is an intelligent little robot that travels around your room sweeping the floor for you. Although it may not make since to you the pattern that roomba uses to get the floors clean they end up doing it. It will take longer than vacuuming yourself but in the end you are having to do it. I have purchased 2 of these and love them both as I now let them sweep on a daily (or nightly) basis. Nice thing is that they do a pretty good job of cleaning the floor. Its not perfect but used as a device for in between cleaning of the house it can keep the floors looking nice and extend the time between when you have to pull out the clunker of a vacuum you used to use.

Took a while to charge at first (16hrs), but the device is awesome!!! Definitely worth the money. It helps keep the house clean but does not supplement as a primary vacuum. As long as you have the big clutter off of the floor it helps clean every part of the floor.

Not knowing the product long time a go,makes everything easier for cleanig and cleaning time, and of course having the wife happy. Lest time cleaning more time with family, priceless!!

Roombas are great! I own 3 roombas and 1 scooba! LOVE irobot products! My carpets saty clean even with a 100lbs. labrador retriever! I run a roomba almost nightly! And the scooba twice weekly. AMAZING! Highly recommended!
