iRobot Roomba 440 Rechargeable Floor Vacuum Robot

My sister got a Roomba for Christmas. She loved it so much, that she made me want one. I did my research since this was an unplanned, somewhat expensive purchase. I ended up buying it on Ebay from a vendor that was selling them new in the box for less than the manufacturer. I love the Roomba. I am amazed at how much it picks up. I start it and let it run while I'm doing other cleaning around the house. Once it has cleaned a sufficient amount, I'm always excited to empty the tray and clean the filter to see just how much it picked up. Under my furniture has never been so clean. I love that it goes under my sofa sectional and under my bed to vacuum. I run it somewhere in the house almost everyday. It works great on hardwoods, carpet and tile! You have to take a minute to prep before running it (general floor pickup and tie-up curtains). Then after use, you need to empty the dust tray, dust off filter, make sure everything's clear on the unit, and re-charge. I absolutely love it!!!

I absolutely love my iRobot Roomba 440. It is everything and more than I could have expected. I have a back problem and it has become very difficult for me to vacuum with a regular vacuum cleaner. The Roomba does a better job than I do with a regular vacuum. It's great to sit and watch the Roomba clean any floor in my house without me suffering from back pain. I put it in my bedroom and it cleaned the carpet better than ever and it cleaned under the bed where I can't reach with the regular vacuum. This is the greatest device I ever bought. I am very grateful that I can have clean floors without the suffering and pain. I keep it plugged in so that the battery is always charged and it is always ready to clean anytime I need or want. The charge on the battery lasts 30 to 45 minutes. It is easy to empty the dirt and it has a filter. I am very delighted with this product.

I now own 3 iRobots. They are wonderful and will amaze you with the cleaning they will do. You can vacuum your carpets on a regular, weekly basis with other vacuums but, the first time you run iRobot on the same carpet, you will be shocked at the amount of dust and debris this little fellow will collect. And, you can see the difference in the carpet. The secret is that it goes over and over the same spots so that it is really like vacuuming 10 times. An added bonus is that it will get under furniture and in places you will miss with other vacuums - all those dust bunnies gone!

All this and the fact that all you have to do is start it and watch! Or just leave it alone!

Absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I bought my 1st one to be used to vacuum the main sanctuary at church. My neck and back couldn't take the constant fight to vacuum between all the benches. It works wonderfully!! I loved it so much I bought a 2nd one for our home. We have mostly hardwood floors and 2 cats. It goes under our bed and around EVERYTHING. It picks up all the cat hair and dirt! I am such a horrible housekeeper, until this came along. LOL

Love my Roomba. I have arthritis and wrestling my big vacuum cleaner just totally kills my back after a while. Roomba takes a little longer, but is well worth it as it does a better job. Have a dog and a cat and it amazes me how much pet hair it collects. Sure, I have to clean out the compartment several times, but I love seeing how much I'm getting rid of and it doesn't stink from the pet hair like my vacuum cleaner with the bags.
