A young couple joyously awaiting the birth of their newborn is in for a horrifying surprise in this thrilling low-budget '70s hit. As baby "It's Alive" makes its way home from the hospital destroying anything in its path, the Davies must face an impossible dilemma, and a parent's worse nightmare!
An interesting hybrid of melodrama and monster movie, It's Alive focuses more on story and satirical social commentary than blood and gore, finding a balanced tone of realism meets camp. In the tradition of other great monster movies, clever quick-edit shots of the baby are introduced to the audience in small doses, building some solid suspense. Sure, there's mandatory suspension of belief involved, but who has time to ponder gaping holes in logic when an entire metropolis lives in fear of a baby monstrosity?

The horror grows when multiple child monsters rampage in It Lives Again (Disc 2/Side A) - and as two brave parents try to stop them by becoming the bait for their spree. The now global terrors are rounded up and relocated to a far-flung island (but not for long!) in It's Alive III: Island of the Alive (Disc 2/Side B). Tese 3 movies are great classics from the 70's and worth every penny spent.....

These are 3 great movies for one greta price! Scary too! The first two films in this series are terrifying and the 3rd is hilarious. The production value is great! Light one up and sit back to enjoy these camp horror classics!!!!

This movie i saw only the first one and i was real young when i saw it and am a horror fan so i decided to add it to my horror collection. The first and 2nd one was great but the 3rd was so scary that it gave me nite mares lol. I was scared to get out of bed after watching it thinking that as soon as i step out of bed that baby was going to jump out and kill me. This movie is not to be seen by pregnant women cause it will definitly give them a scare what might happen to them. So if u guys out there want a good movie to show your wives or girlfriends i gurantee u that u show them this movie and they will be clinging tight to you for a while. So women beware but definitly a wonderful and well casted movie this one is going into my list of must see and buy movies wonderful job.

WHEN I LOOKED IT UP I FOUND OUT IT HAD A PART 2 AND A PART 3 CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM IF THEY ARE ANYTHING LIKE THE ORGINAL IT IS A MUST WATCH MOVIE FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE SCARY MOVIES
