It's Me or the Dog: How to Have the Perfect Pet by Victoria Stilwell (2007, Paperback)

Victoria is a great trainer. She loves dogs and knows how to make them behave the way they should. She means what she says - enough is enough - if you can't make them behave proper - its me or the dog!!! I bought the book because I love her shows and wanted to read the book to have the information handy to read when I needed it. Thanks Victoria for such a great book!!!!

Having watched Stilwell's television show for years and tried some of her ideas that always worked, I wanted a copy of her book for a quick reminder and as a reference. The book is clearly written and full of useful dog training ideas that work. The training techniques are far easier to implement than described and/or shown in other similar books I own. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for answers to dog training problems.

I really like Victoria Stilwell's training methods. They seem to be something that anyone can do and she relates to such common problems. Her approach is amazing and really works. The key is persistence and patience which she continues to enforce. She totally gives you hope to be able to solve you and your pet's problem(s).

I'll be getting a puppy this summer and wanted a book that would helP me prepare for it before brining it home. So far I like the book and the chapters that are included. Guess I'll have to wait to find out if her theories work when I bring the dog home.

like the way she trains dogs and owners.If more people would train their dogs like she does it would be a better world with well behavied dogs. I hate taking my dog for a walk because other people can't control the dogs they are walking.
