The DVD is in great shape. I'm very picky about my purchases, I could not tell the difference in the quality. I have season one from Best Buy, both play and look very high end. It didn't look like a knock.

This DVD like other DVD have some special scene are informative, like commentarys, how the series took fight, inside JAG and the military accuracy.

Producers SUCK big time on JAG Season 2.

 | No, I would not recommend this product.
Created: 05/10/11
I'd rate JAG-Season 2 higher but for 1 major, glaring misfire, likely by the show's producers. The final episode of Season 1, "Skeleton Crew" is a cliffhanger ending with Harm being arrested by an overzealous civilian police investigator for the murder of a female officer that Harm went through officer training with. Fully expecting closure in the 1st program of Season 2, the "Skeleton Crew" Part 2--if there ever was one--isn't Season 2's 1st program, nor is it among the 4 episodes on S2's 1 disk. Obviously Harm was proved not guilty as the Season 2 has him in all his glory, in full command of his JAG responsibilities with yet another JAG partner, in spite of the fact the viewer is never shown how Harm beats the murder charge. In short, this is a major flaw in S2's so called 'seamless' portrayal of the show. Also the new intro-editing of the how/why Harm went from Navy Figther Pilot to being a JAG Lawyer is shabby at best and not what I'd expect from S1's episode introductions. End.

Great JAG Deal!

Created: 05/04/10
Fantastic price, fantastic delivery, no problems! My favorite TV program and actors, and never saw any of Second Season because I only recently started watching reruns daily throughout the whole year. I was an Air Force guy (8 yrs), but you have to be a MAN or WOMAN to stay ready for Navy life, at least from the perspective of this show. Great plots, fast action, and romance (although I'm an old duffer and don't much care for it, but it's what makes life go 'round, or so they say). What's more to say? Fabulous dealer!!!

Lacks congruence from season 1, but overall still good

Created: 31/01/10
JAG season 1 ends in a cliffhanger episode which should have been resolved in season 2, but instead the first episode of season 2 only provides a brief flashback to that episode and does not tie off any loose ends.

Futhermore, season 2 introduces new characters and actors, and also silently eliminates several of season 1's main actors and their characters without any explanation or transition whatsoever. It's almost as though season 2 is another iteration or remake of season 1 with different stories and a half-new cast.

Overall, in my opinion season 2 is worthwhile entertainment, although some of the episodes, particularly the very first episode of season 2 with the helicopter and Declaration of Independence, are a little (actually, much) too heroic, idealistic, with an exaggerated "comic book" storyline, where Harm is the big perfect hero and saves the day against impossible odds, and the bad guys can't aim and shoot weapons at point blank range, nor can they fist fight properly, and so on.

If I may also note, the intro to season 2, while it retains some of season 1's intro's footage, is somehow a little cheesy, but that's tolerable and it doesn't ruin the main production.

Overall, I would say that season 2 is worthwhile and I am happy with my purchase for its entertainment value. Overall, I liked season 1 slightly more, but season 2 stands on its own merits.

Jag - The Complete Second Season

Created: 04/09/07
I love the way the series portrays Harmon Rabb, this is a role model for the
youth of today. It shows our military in the way it really is they dont try and sugar coat it. I think its a great show and maybe television should show
the military in more of a positive way than the negative that the newspapers
and TV news shows it.
