Jag is always entertaining
Created: 29/06/08
I used to watch Jag sporadically when it was on television. Always enjoyed it. I missed many episodes because each episode is self-contained and that is one of its strengths. Unlike soap operas that leave you needing more, each Jag episode satisfies in itself. The production values and writing of each story is consistently high. David Elliott is an asset ... Catherine Bell has her high moments but is overrated as an actress. There's nothing that I can recall that stirs one to higher motives on the small screen and it's a credit that this 'fairy floss' show does it so well. TV viewing nowadays offers so much junk in the form of reality shows ... in Australia that means having to watch illiterate 20 year olds trying to lose too much Macca's fat or singing their skulls off trying to get a recording contract ... so that they can afford to buy a shiny new Ford or whatever ... yawn, yawn and double yawn. I wish Aussies could produce shows of the quality of Jag but unfortunately my countrymen are too busy drinking beer or building more pergolas for countless mindless barbecues they have planned.

JAG 5- more of the same.
Created: 30/07/08
JAG season 5 is the mid point of this ten year series, which in my opinion is the best TV series ever produced. It combines intelligent courtroom drama, with exciting action, and warm humor. All done with tones of honor, selflessness and devotion- seldom seen anywhere else. Each episode finds you feeling good- good about the kinds of people you rarely hear about... Heros.

JAG Season 5
Created: 21/04/08
Sometimes, a continuing series loses it's luster and ambience after a couple of years. Not JAG! A mixture of Military life, courtroom drama, current events, human emotions, compassion, a little humor (now and then), and adherence to rules of conduct has my devotion to this program. The ethics of living is continuously the driving force in the plots allowing some 'bending' for common sense and 'no-win' situations. Jag could have gone on far past it's 10 seasons, but it shut down rather than tarnish it's impeccable legacy. I highly recommend JAG as a show for those who still believe in the 'good old day' values of life! Thanks for the opportunity to review! -- Larry R.

Why not get JAG
Created: 29/09/08
Ok I had the first 4 seasons of JAG, and when I finished watching the 4th season I had to buy the 5th season. I like law and the military so JAG puts both in a show that I can enjoy. You should watch the seasons in order, since they do flashbacks and talk about stuff that happened in the past. Over all great dvd, I am going to buy season 6 soon. When season's 7-10 come out I'll get them to.
