At a time when many writers like Neil Simon are not having their works produced for the big screen and preserved for future film buffs, the small screen seems to be picking up the slack. This excellant version is just such a creation. Made for TV with Alan Alda and a great cast of great actresses, including Joyce Van Patten, Julie Kavner and Anne Archer. The popular Simon comedy is now preserved for the fans. Others in this list include one of his latest, but not very opopular, London Suite and an interesting remake of The Sunshine Boys with Peter Falk and Woody Allen.
