James Cameron's Dark Angel (Sony PlayStation 2, 2002)

Product description

Product Information
Avenge Her past, discover Her future in James Cameron's Dark Angel, based on TV's sci-fi adventure series. Set in the near future after an electromagnetic pulse detonated by terrorists crippled the US economy, Max, a genetically-enhanced human prototype with attitude to spare, escaped from her military creators and made a life for herself on the edgy streets of 21st-century Seattle. She becomes a reluctant hero when she teams up with idealistic, underground cyber-journalist Logan Cale, lending her unique abilities to his crusade against corruption and an oppressive establishment. Played from a zoomed-out perspective, players fight their way through 3D levels, using martial arts moves, wall jumping and plenty of throws to defeat the opposition.

ENTERTAINING

Created: 02/08/07
This game is not cutting edge by any means even for 2002 when it was made or even very challenging and can be repetitive at times because you do alot of the same things in each level and nothing new and challenging really happens except it gets harder to kill guards as you go and the bosses get tougher and max doesnt interact with most items around her.But on the good side max has some pretty cool moves and attack combos and matrix style slow motion moves which makes up for the rest of the game and the graphics are pretty good too.I also liked how jessica alba and michael weatherly provided the voice work for their characters and the game has the feel of the show and kinda makes you remember what a fun show it was and wish it wasnt cancelled after 2 seasons, and there is some extras like a picture gallery and some interviews from the stars of the show which is cool.Im not finished the game yet so i dont know what happens at the end of the final level but basically if your a fan of the show id say buy it its fun and entertaining for what it is and if your not a fan of the show id say dont buy it because half the fun is the tie in to the show itself.Plus you can get this game for under 10 dollars now, great deal.

Although this game has some decent action, and Max has some butt kicking moves, it is more about investigating and be stealthy. YOu can even whistle to get the gaurd's attention, and then grab him from behind once you have seperated him from the other guards.

James Cameron's Dark Angel Video Game

The reasons that I bought this game were- 1) I'm a big Jessica Alba fan. 2) You can't find this game anywhere except maybe on the internet. 3) The price was right. Of course my son will play the game because I'm not too good at first person games. But I also got it to add to my Jessica Alba collection. What more can I say except thanks for having it. Jamie

If you are a Dark Angel fan this game can be a little entertaining. If not a fan I would not recomend it. Since the game is set in Seattle where I live I may be a little bias also.
