) I like the fact the CD was new. I wanted a CD with songs from Jesus Christ Suerstar on it and that is exactly what I got. This version is different from a JC Superstar tape I owned previously, it was nice to hear a different version.

) One must remember that this is not the new york version of this recording , But the original "London" recording , The new york recording seems to cost more , But I find this version to be extremely "Powerful" and I would recomend it highly. I have purchased more than one of these to give to young christian teens so they may enjoy something that they have not been exposed to. I may be buying more as the holiday approaches !

) I was looking for the United States original version. Remember the one that came out as a double album, in a brown case, complete with a booklet with all of the words to every song and spoken line??? Well, this isn't it, and it's not those folks singing it either. It's a good substitute for Yvonne Elliman, etc. but not the real deal if you're a real fan like me that still remembers all of the words. Keep looking and get the real one.

I loved the play and the movie. This is an excellent portrayal of the last week of Jesus's life. I am not a Christian,but I find the history of this enlightened man fascinating. The music is wonderful. Just keep an open mind, sit back, and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!

Takes big nuggets to cover a classic. It was okay, but falls several leagues short of the original.
