) Sally Lloyd Jones does an excellent job of making the Bible stories understandable to today's people, and shows how every story points straight to Jesus. A wonderful book-kids love it, but so do adults! Stories are just the right size-not to long or to short. I heard about it on a radio show, and decided to purchase it when I found it on eBay. I'm very glad I did.
Great Biblical Overview

My 7 year old god-daughter and I read this together over the phone since we don't live in the same town anymore. The stories get to the point of the story, keeping Jesus as the main character of the Bible. It also provokes TONS of great questions and teaches me every time we read!

This group of stories is told in a way that helps a child to understand the foreshadowing that is constant in the Bible. Each story points the child to Jesus & God's plan to save us. In this manner, the stories are not only stories that show how God has interacted with His people throughout His people's history, but also shows how the whole time each person's life reflects God's own story of loving and saving His people. It is the first christocentric children's Bible storybook I've seen.
