    Movie synopsis

Vocalist Robert Plant and guitarist Jimmy Page are without a doubt two of the most famous talents in rock music. Making their fame as two of the four members of the legendary rock group Led Zeppelin--and definitely the most visible--Page and Plant went on to successful solo careers. In 1994, fourteen years after the dissolution of Zeppelin, the two rock giants collaborated to write a few songs and perform on this wonderful video, NO QUARTER (UNLEDDED.) On both acoustic and electric instruments, including a mandolin and a banjo, the two men and a backing band perform seventeen tracks.

One of Page & Plant's Best. The Diversity of Instruments is Astounding. Jimmy and Robert Show much of Their True Talent in Making Music with just about any Culture or Instrument and turning into something that puts You in Ahh. You Can Just See the Dedication and Pride the Other Musicians have to be playing With These People of Rock And Roll History ( Probably For-Filling Some Dreams Also ) And the Creme De La Creme of Kashmir is worth the whole investment. One of the Two's Most Powerful Pieces. A must Buy for All Zeppelin Fans.

Wow! What a nice surprise THIS was!

    Created: 24/05/07
I was fortunate enough to see this disc before I ordered my own copy, but believe me, it is dynamite. Robert Plant and Jimmy Page take the songs of Led Zeppelin and play them acoustically for the most part but also in a different thrust than the original. It's hard to put a word to it really... it's just so different than what you'd expect... and yet so tasty!

Much of the playing is set in India and they use Indian musicians and instruments behind them. It creates a very listenable quality to what you are seeing and hearing. When you relax into it a bit, the songs begin to get to you at a different level. I've done quite a bit of foreground listening in my life where I'm really immersed in the music and this one gets to you.

Some great art direction and cinematography help create a visual atmosphere that matches the audio one nicely.

And then there's those Zeppelin tunes....

If you liked them as originally done, you'll very much enjoy this slightly different take on their original nature. What I particularly liked was that they didn't change the songs so much that you lose what you loved about them in the first place... and as Martha Stewart would say, That's a good thing.

Videography is very nice , taking you from stage to the country side and performing outside with the people. Some favorite and familiar Page & Plant material with a twist , I saw this live and this DVD represents the actual concert very well .
Page and Plant still rock and Led Zeppelin still rules !!!
