) I was using my flip cam at a huge three day outdoor Dave Matthews Band Caravan multi concert in July and holding it up by hand and someone let me use one of these Joby GP3's they had with them. I walk with a cane and I found it easy to wrap those very sturdy legs around the hook end of my cane and then I could just hold the cane up in the air. (instant tripod). Through out the weekend I attached that thing to all sorts of surfaces and you can be as creative as you want and this thing will come thru for you. It is sturdy and strong but very light and you can stick it in any pocket. Excellent product - well worth the price.

5 stars because i bought mine gently used and very cheap! This works great for weird angles and can be placed in tons of surfaces. it is short but it does perform well on its respective use. It's a great walk around tripod if you hate bringing heavy bulky ones like me.
It could also be use as an emergency stabilizer when i shoot video with my 60d. Overall, this dildo looking tripod can really do a lot of stuff that will aid the creativity in your photography.

This thing is the coolest. I can mount it in different positions, angles, heights, etc and get some very good shots.
