Multicultural Music
Created: 19/10/09
This is a collection of 30 performances of artists that were on the "Later with Jools Holland" show that aired on Britiah TV. The show was always very good about showing the diversity in popular music, featuring pop and new-wave artists as well as more obscure acts that would be known for "world music."
Here we have artists from many countries, including African music, but many performances by more commercial bands too. Some of the best performances to me are Coldplay, David Gray, The Verve, Moby, and REM, but there is a nice touch of variety with jazz by Diana Krall, and stranger compositions by Bjork, Portishead, Blur, Pulp. Worht owning if you like variety in your music listening.
