Journal of a Residence in the Sandwich Islands

Created: 08/03/07
This book was received in excellent condition with one exception. A previous owner's name was inscribed. This however, did not detract from this excellent book. It gave a good insight into precontact Hawaiian culture, but keeping in mind it was written by a missionary. The writing was boring at times (giving the weather report), but those entries could be easily skimmed or skipped.
