The Jungle Book (DVD, 2007, 2-Disc Set, 40th Anniversary Edition)

Disney stuck gold with this film!! This is one of those great coming of age stories, but with a twist, the boy who's coming of age was raised by animals, Literally!! The buy Moglee, was orphaned in the Jungles of india at birth and had to be raised by a bear and a panther... This film contains some great musical numbers that the whole family can enjoy!!

Wow, For all Jungle Book fans out there, this is a must have. My daughter loves the Jungle Book, and we have been watching it over and over again on VHS. Before purchase the 40th anniversary edition we bought the 30th anniversary on VHS, which was significantly better than the original. I finally decided it was time to get the DVD and boy am I glad. Not only is the picture and sound quality incredible, but the convenience of skipping scenes is awesome. My daughter loves the music, and we can skip straight to the "Bear Necessities" or " I wanna be like You" or whichever song. no more fast forwarding. Again, a must have for Jungle Book Fans, Lots of bonus features as well

This classic Disney film restored to digital glory is great. The extras alone on the second disc were worth the purchase price. The holographic case looks cool and is built to with stand being put in bags, passed around...etc. the disc arrived very quickly with NO scratches at all. Weather you are building your first Disney DVD collection or just looking for some good old fashion entertainment this is a fabulous choice!

I bought this DVD " The Jungle Book " for my 10 month old Grandson. He loves the music ! There are not that many fun, lighthearted, inspiring, movies out there for children anymore. I am so thankful I can find these classics on ebay and have the opportunity to share them with my Grandchildren. Its a wonderful story about friendship. The characters are fun and loveable and the music is so catchy and beautifully done. Anyone young or somewhat old will enjoy this classic.

I have seen this movie off and on for many years. It is a great family movie. I first saw it in the 1960's when I took my 8 yr. old brother to see it at the theater. I then had my children watch it on TV in the 70's. I purchased the VHS tape in the 90's and my oldest grandchildren really enjoyed it. I have just bought the DVD and my 2 yr. old granddaughter just loves it. She loves the little boy Mowgli and when she doesn't see him, she wants to know where he is. She also loves to sing and dance with Baloo the Bear. I highly recommend it for your little ones. It is a timeless film that each generation of children seem to love.
