Movie synopsis

When Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman join forces--not to mention Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and The Flash--they form the Justice League. Based on the hit graphic novel by Darwyn Cooke, this animated feature plumbs the origins of the DC Comics powerhouse. The adventure starts when the human race is threatened by a powerful creature, and only the combined forces of these superheroes can stop it. But can they overcome their differences? Instilling a Cold War atmosphere into this action-packed story adds a modern touch to THE NEW FRONTIER. Providing voices for the super group is an all-star cast that includes David Boreanaz, Lucy Lawless, Kyle MacLachlan, Kyra Sedgwick, Brooke Shields, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jeremy Sisto.

As I already own this, I had to get it on blu ray. Not only is the sound better but of course the picture cannot be matched. Animation in blu ray almost looks 3d during some points of overlaying. If you are a fan of any of the Justice league cartoons that came out earlier on Cartoon Network, you cannot pass this full length movie up. Dark yet cheerful, you will not be dissapointed with this purchase.

I like blu ray discs and cartoons rule!! Actually the comic was brilliant, so i wanted to see how true to the original the animated feature is, and it was perfect. i think a great movie for kids or adults with a love of nostalgia. The modern hero never was this cool. Five stars!

I loved the movie, my only wish is that Wonder Woman had a bigger part. Green Lantern fans are gonna love this film.

I Love it! So beautiful and detailed story! The colors and graphics are amazing! This is a must have for any Superman or Justice Leage fan! One of the best JLA movies ever! Set in the 50's it shows the heroes as classics! Tons of blood too which was a first for me in a Superman JLA movie so that was kinda cool also! Get this for any one you love who loves Superman and the JLA!

My kids love the movie, I loved the PRICE!!! Such a deal. I will buy from again and again. The movie is great too. The Justice League is something my 3 boys do not get sick of.
