Karaoke Revolution Party (Sony PlayStation 2, 2005)

Great Game, unfortunately Lyrics are not included in the booklet, however still so fun to sing along too and invite friends over. One thing I wish they would do though is make the whole Game New Songs. I've noticed though that during the holidays are when they come out with the new ones (now that's Smart Marketing) so hopefully they will be implementing it from now on. I would have to say that the younger people are usually the ones buying the game so it should be more current Top 40 Songs (now that would be Even Smarter Marketing), But Hey It's Just My .02.

Also This has the ALL-NEW Sing and Dance mode (supports DDR Dance Pad which is sold separatly), Now that makes it even more challenging, singing and dancing, but soooo fun!

And you can Create a 3D Model of your head and see yourself perform on stage using the EYETOY USB Camera!

And of course as usual you can customize your characters head, body shape, clothes and accessories!

I love to sing and this is great for serious and fun singers alike. Different modes let you decide if you want to be judged on actually hitting the notes (it shows if you're flat, sharp or on pitch) There is also the party mode where it doesn't matter how you sing you won't get booed off by this crowd! Lots of venues and characters. I found the Eye Toy character a bit difficult to setup it didn't really look right, but it was a hoot making faces!

Fun for the whole family. This game allows your inner star to be released while you sing your heart out and try to impress the judges. If you are good enough, you will unlock secret outfits or accessories to dress up your character in. Many great songs included-some oldies and a lot of your favorite radio tunes. Kids and adults both enjoy this interactive game, as it provides hours of entertainment. It's also great for parties.

We bought this game for our daughter for her birthday a couple of months ago. Since then, we've bought the other four volumes of Karaoke Revolution and my kids, nieces, brothers, in-laws and others have spend endless hours playing and singing away. In short, there is just a great variety of songs that will appeal to just about everyone in one way or another. The ability to sing duets or to "compete" by singing head to head, along with all the other numerous modes and mini-games and the ability to create your own character make this game an absolute joy. You just can't help but have fun playing this, even if you're not a singer (like me)! Well worth the price and then some!!

Awesome game! I would definetly play it again and recommended it to anyone who likes to sing or dance! It is very easy to play. The characters are fun. You can really make a character look like you or make them crazy and unique. The songs choice is great. It is fun to unlock other songs. It is fun to play by yourself or play with a group at a "party". You can really be competetive or just relaxed. You really feel like your competing, even if your not in real life. You can sing or dance with it, if you also use a dance pad! That is the best of both worlds! It is real good on rating the pitch of your voice!
