Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol (Microphone Included) (Sony PlayStation 2, 2007)

We have all the Karaoke Revolutions and this was is Just as Fun. Simon & Randy are there, but Paula is replaced by Laura? I think because Paula Abduls Straight Up is one of the songs, and she's probably already going to get royalties from it, is the only conclusion I could come up with. One thing they could have made better was the song selections, a lot of them are older, some even before my time, but the game was bought mostly for my 11 year old, and unfortunately she doesn't know 75% of the songs (25% I don't know either), so because of that I'm giving this a Good instead of Excellent. The Judging and Critiques are pretty funny though, and there are also video clips of singers on American Idol when you unlock them by getting Platinum and Diamonds

Overall it's Good, but we've waited a whole year for the new version of this Game, and it wasn't as good as I thought it might be. Hopefully next year they'll put Newer Top 40 songs on it.

This game is so much fun. It's a lot like karaoke since it's your voice with the music. The lyrics run across the bottom of the screen. The difficulty levels range from easy to expert. It's perfect for any age. If you don't know the works completely you can even hum a long and it will be fine. My whole family loves it!

We all love this game!! I am 42, my son is 14 and I have two nieces who are 18 and 21 and we have a blast!! It is kind of fun to do "not so well" so Simon can tell you are horrible you are but then we get pretty competative too. There are a nice variety of play modes as well as a ton of characters and outfits to choose from. This game also has a nice selections of songs. My only advice is....get 2 microphones so you can go "head to head". This is a great way to spend a Friday night!!

We decided to get this game after my brother brought it from out of state. we liked it so much, we bought it ourselves. We love the game, even my parents have tried it now, after a long time pulling teeth to get them to attempt it. they even had a ball designing themselves int he create a character section. the only thing i wish it had, was more songs, or a way to add songs to it.

This game is absolutely hilarious with Simon and Randy and Laura (aka Paula in disguise) Songs are new and old fun mix for all ages.
