Stranger than fiction!
Created: 20/07/07
Based on a true story, this film depicts actual events in the lives of a sexually charged husband and his obedient wife. The story is set in a prison cell with Karla being evaluated for parole. We are seamlessly taken back to each instance of murder and physical abuse as she tells her story. Personally, before I watched the movie, I educated myself with some of the details of the case online and found the movie very accurate and nonetheless, extremely disturbing. Definitely and eye opener to the horrific crimes going on in society.

A Must See Movie for Serial Killer Movies fan lovers
Created: 07/04/07
I love serial killer movies and this is the best one I’ve ever seen. It’s almost unbelievable that this is a true story, but truth is stranger than fiction sometimes. I read that the much of the dialogue and incidents are so real that they are from the actual Karla Homolka court testimony. The performances are great, Laura Prepon is so different from her characters on the 70"s Show and October Road. She does a great job. Misha Collins is haunting as Paul Bernardo, the killer. I found the movie not only entertaining but compelling. It’s creepier than “Monster” and is like the “Seven” of true crime movies. The music is great, too.

I think that if you are a Laura Prepon fan you will like this movie. It is based on real events even more perverse than the movie depicts. The story has been told on reality shows like forensic files. and the like but again I am a Laura Prepon fan and I thought that she did very well.....It was worth the money I spent for the DVD...

i am a fan of serial killer movies, and the story of karla disturbed me. laura prepon is great in the movie, which has a kind of "lifetime" feel to it but isn't bad. entertaining for an evening at home alone...

Excellent service-story line strays from reality
Created: 17/02/09
Gruesome story, however story line on dvd strays too much from reality.
Too much has been made in the press about the murders that Karal Homulta and her husband committed INstead of showing what happened most of the story comes from flash backs.
