Kenwood KAC-8105D Car Amplifier

Hi All.
Well now I have 2 great devices that produce Big-Bada-Boom in my car:
1) Kenwood KAC-8105D
2) Kenwood KFC-W3012 / Sealed enclosure 1.25 cubic feet

Great Amp! Great Power! Clear Bass kicks.
Not too big sized (Class D rulez)
Not too hot (again - Class D - Rulez!)

I'm completely satisfied with my new amp and recommend it to all.

P.S. my gear is Volvo 850.

Hooked it up in my car and immediately noticed a difference from my old Sony 600 watt. This amp doesn't get hot from extended use like some amps and with the right subwoofer setup can really pound your system.

It is an excellent amplifier. It is very powerful and rock solid reliable. It has a low profile size with sleek looks. The lights definetely emphasizes the quality and style of Kenwood brand products. The amplifier has many knobs to control different settings. An excellent amplifier for those who are on a budget.

This amp with my 10" sub produces more bass than my old stereo system ever did.
I use to have a 12" with 1200 watt amp and it did not sound nearly as clean as this Kenwood amp.
If your tight on cash but you still want to enjoy your bass then this is the amp for you.
Try and find an amp that makes 300 rms at 4 ohm for this amount of cash and you will agree with me.
Does not overheat even after over 2 hours of use and nice compact design that can be mounted amost anywhere.

It offers good power in a decent size. I was also considering a RF Prime 500.1, but the RF Prime amps are on the large side. I wanted a small amp that could be mounted on an enclosure. The 8105 is compact considering its power output. At 2 ohms the amp can push out 500 rms and 1000 peak. It fits the same ratings as my RF 12" P3 sub. I am happy with the power it produces.

I am no sub/amp expert, but I like the sound it produces and gets the job done.

For the price and its power output, I certainly can not complain.
