Movie synopsis
The hilarity of the Heffernan household continues into the eighth season of this popular sitcom. Kevin James (EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND) stars as Doug Heffernan, a UPS delivery man who lives in Queens with his shopaholic wife, Carrie (Leah Remini). The couple's life together is turned upside down when Carrie's eccentric father, Arthur (Jerry Stiller, SEINFELD), moves in with them, taking over Doug's cherished TV room and usurping his sports-watching habits. The unusual family continues its attempts to live harmoniously in this season that features guest appearances from stars such as Ray Romano, Kirstie Alley, Adam West, and Lou Ferrigno.

I love this show I watch every night M-F at 9pm. My kids also watch with me during the school breaks. I'm addicted...So, I decided to buy season one and loved it so much I went on to buy season two and four and now eight. Eight is just like the others with the wisecracking Carrie and naive Doug and the only out for himself father in law. I can't get enough of the family weaving in and out of the everyday life situations magnified and with a humorous resolution to it all.

Doug and Carrie are both great in this comedy. I love them and I will recommend this dvd to watch!! I bought all the season's and I want more. Doug and Carry are so funny together...but don't forget Spence and Arthur. Nevertheless Dicken and Kelly and of course Holly great team! I love them ALL!!
Fun for the whole family

) I bought the 8th season of the King of Queens DVD because my wife and I love the sitcom. The sitcom is funny and clean. The whole family can watch it. To be able to watch all of the episodes of the season without commercials is great.

) My husband and I love this show, and pretty much have every line memorized. We had all seasons but Season 8. When we bought it and watched it, we remembered why we didn't get it in the first place. It is so, SO negative. In the previous seasons, Doug and Carrie would cutely banter back and forth, but at the end of the day were still so happy together and in love. This season just takes their relationship downhill. They are plotting against one another, bold face lying, disrespect, etc. Is that supposed to be "funny"? Stick to all the other seasons and you'll have a much better King Of Queens experience.
